Saint Paul

Item Number: Saint Paul

This pictorial volume of St. Paul could easily be renamed The Hymn of Love. It is sung by a brilliant scholar, a militant and fanatic Pharisee who actively assisted in the persecution of Christians in Jerusalem. Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me? The words addressed to him by our Lord left him blind, lying on the ground before the gates of Damascus.

When he was baptized by Ananias, he became an Apostle to the Gentiles. This dramatic turn in Paul’s life, as described in St. Paul, The Apostle of Reconciliation, changed the course of history. It is because of St. Paul that the whole of the Western World received the Gospel. In reading this book, my faith in our Lord Jesus has been revitalized and strengthened. I wholeheartedly recommend this book. Father Demetrios S. Kavadas St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
